Solstice

024
The darkest time in the year,
The poorest place in town,
Cold, and a taste of fear,
Man and woman alone,
What can we hope for here?
More light than we can learn,
More wealth than we can treasure,
More love than we can earn,
More peace than we can measure,
Because one child is born.
— Christopher Fry, One Child Is Born

    • And I love your posts, too, Karen. I like what you cook and the things you write about. Sorry for the difficulty in comments. I will check. I have problems with that if I am reading on my I pad instead of the PC. Blog mechanics are a challenge for me. Happy Christmas to you and yours.
